Friday, November 29: Early registration closes. Coaches must email completed registration form(find at bottom of page) to rivercitywrestle@gmail.com. All entries received after this date will pay walk-in fee
Sunday, December 1:
7am- Doors Open and registration begins
730am-Last chance to register for k-2/3-5 division. No additional walk ins will be accepted after 730am
to ensure a prompt start time.
8am-Wrestling begins for k-2/3-5, wrestling will conclude around 1230pm for this session 12pm-Registration begins for 6-8 grade divisions
1230pm-Last chance to register for 6-8 grade divisions. No additional walk ins will be accepted after
1230pm to ensure a prompt start time.
1pm-Wrestling begins for 6-8 grade divisions. Wrestling will conclude around 5pm for this session.
Cost:
Wrestlers:
Cash: $30 if registered in advanced, $50 for walk ins
Card: $35 if registered in advanced, $55 for walk ins
*Athletes can double bracket at an additional $20 charge
Regardless of if you register in advanced, all entry fees will be collected ON SITE!
Spectators(5 years and up):
Cash: $5
Card: $7
*Coaches with current USAW Leaders card receive free admission
Format
All brackets will be Madison Style Brackets, with wrestlers in the weight being separated by NO more than +/- 6lbs. The goal is to do do round robin brackets, but may have some double elimination brackets based upon the size of the event. If you are in a double elimination bracket, we will guarantee a third match so all wrestlers get at least 3 matches on the day.
We are keeping it old school! All brackets/bouts will be run on pen and paper!
Divisions: K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 grade - all divisions will have separate GIRLS ONLY brackets
Concessions:
Concessions will be provided on site, please, no outside food or drinks!
