Richmond, VA - In 2013 River City Wrestling was founded in Goochland, VA. During the infancy of the club the primary focus was the development of k-8 aged athletes. Since 2018 that market expanded to accommodate high school athletes as well. We started as part of River City Youth Fitness in about a 900sqft room. In 2020 we moved to a 3700sqft stand alone facility.

Since moving to a stand alone facility our club has grown tremendously. When moving into the building we thought this would be our forever home. With over 150 total athletes in the club we have encountered safety issues due to the increased numbers and limited space available.

We are proud to announce in 2024 River City Wrestling will have a new home! Located just ten minutes from our current facility we will be relocating to 4100 West Clay St, Richmond, VA 23230. This 7500 sqft located just minutes off of I64/95 will ensure that we are able to maintain our growth while providing our athletes the appropriate space to continue to learn, grow and develop.

When fully outfitting this will serve as one of the most impressive facilities in the state. The fully outfitted facility will include: 4 full mats, cardio/weights, recovery stations and more…

We are grateful that our continued has allowed us to outgrow our already impressive facility. More information to come on exact date of our relocation and we will continue to share as details develop.
